María Teresa Cordeiro Mejía, better known as Mayté Cordeiro is a voice actress known for her work in the La Leyenda series and has consistently voiced Teodora Villavicencio since La Leyenda de la Nahuala and continued to voice her in the Spanish dub of Legend Quest and the upcoming La Leyenda del Charro Negro.

In 2005 or 2006, she worked in the area of project management of the Ministry of Culture of the State of Puebla, when Ricardo Arnaíz presented the project "La Leyenda de la Nahuala".

She said that she had always dreamed of working on an acting project, so Ricardo Arnaiz gave her the opportunity to make a test voice for Teodora Villavicencio.

To everyone's surprise, Mayté molded the character to her style and everyone was convinced by her role as a voice actress, especially for her Poblano accent.[1]

Despite not being a voice actress, Mayté continued to make the voice of Teodora Villavicencio in all the films and in Legend Quest (Spanish version).
