Rosa is a major character of La Leyenda de la Llorona. She is a woman who lived in Xochimilco, New Spain with her two children, Beto her eldest and Kika her youngest. A kindhearted woman, Rosa is very intelligent and wise and has a great knowledge of Xochimilco and its history


Rosa is an exceeding warm and kindhearted mother who loves not only her children, but all the children of Xochimilco. She was supportive of Kika's tomboyish personality and cared a great deal for both of her children. She could be stern when the moment called for it, but was generally an easy going person who found enjoyment in the simple things. She was very tender and motherly towards Leo San Juan and cared for him like he was her own in his brief time staying with them. When Leo saved the lives of Beto, Kika all of the children in Xochimilco, she sincerely thanked him and kissed him on the cheek as a reward.


Rosa is a slender woman with purple hair.
